Overview

FY25 - Risk Assurance - Senior Manager - IT Cybersecurity s role focuses on protecting organizations from cyber threats, identifying vulnerabilities, developing secure systems, and safeguarding data.

As a cybersecurity generalist, you will provide comprehensive security solutions across domains to protect client systems and data, applying broad cybersecurity principles to address diverse challenges.

• Prepare concise documents and reports using MS Office.
• Provide candid feedback and keep leadership informed of progress and issues.

Role sits within PwC’s Cyber Security practice, Risk Assurance. You will help clients build cyber security resilience by identifying, protecting, detecting, and responding to threats, including regulatory and data privacy considerations.

You will be involved in tasks such as:

• Governance and design/implementation using standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27000 family, PCI-DSS, COBIT, CIS).
• Security across applications, infrastructure, cloud, web/mobile, and related security devices; red team exercises; cyber incident response, threat hunting, and incident analysis;
  Operational Technology security (energy, mining, utilities, oil & gas).
• Providing recommendations and client advice; training and upskilling team members; active business development and proposal work; client engagement and relationship building.
• Preparing clear documents/reports; delivering timely feedback; keeping leadership informed of progress.

General Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT-related field (e.g., Information Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering).
• Experience in Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Security, or Data Protection;
  Identity and Access Management.
• Relevant certifications are optional but preferred (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CCSP, GIAC, CISA, others).
• Ability to articulate risk and value of security solutions; strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication, with ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience:

• Senior Manager: 10–15+ years as a Cyber Security Risk Assurance lead in a Consulting environment.
