Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support banking report and analytics.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
• Integrate data from various internal and external sources.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Support regulatory reporting by ensuring accurate and timely data processes.

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
• Experience with data warehouse design and development methodologies.
• Proven experience with ETL or data integration tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Deep knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server) and familiarity with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Experienced in fine tuning ETL jobs, database queries, and infrastructure for efficiency
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
