Recreation Manager AYANA Komodo

AYANA Komodo is one of the leading luxury resorts in the breathtaking Komodo National Park. We are currently seeking a Recreation Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all recreational activities and facilities at the resort. You will ensure that all guests have an exceptional and memorable experience during their stay, whether they are seeking adventure, relaxation, or entertainment.

As the Recreation Manager, you will develop and implement a diverse range of activities and programs, catering to guests of all ages and interests. Additionally, you will manage a team of recreation staff, ensuring that they are trained and motivated to deliver exceptional service.

• Create and implement a comprehensive recreation program offering a variety of activities, such as water sports, fitness classes, cultural experiences, and nature excursions
• Ensure that all recreational facilities are well maintained and meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
• Manage a team of recreation staff, providing guidance, training, and ongoing support
• Collaborate with other departments at the resort to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of guest experiences
• Monitor and continuously improve guest satisfaction levels, addressing any feedback or concerns
• Organize and host special events and themed activities for guests
• Manage recreational budget and expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness and revenue generation

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury resort
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Extensive knowledge of recreational activities and facilities
• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful recreation programs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
