Responsibilities
  • As a Civil Supervisor, bring experience in managing utilities projects, particularly within fibre network construction, and oversee civils teams with hands-on engineering leadership.
  • Manage all aspects of construction, including resource allocation, site supervision, and ensuring projects are supplied with plant and materials. Self-perform certain tasks and maintain accurate records by marking up drawings and producing detailed reports on project progress.
  • Uphold Health & Safety and Quality standards by conducting random audits and educating in-house teams and subcontractors.
  • Act as a key liaison with local authorities and clients, ensuring professional representation of the company.
  • Coordinate complex, high-risk site operations safely and in compliance with legislation, while reviewing site documentation and certifications to ensure project success and operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a Civil Supervisor with a strong background in utilities projects and fibre network construction.
  • Ability to blend hands-on engineering work with leadership to effectively oversee civils teams.
  • Strong organisational skills for resource allocation, documentation, reporting, and drawing markups.
  • Commitment to health, safety, and quality standards, with experience performing audits and training teams and subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for liaising with local authorities and clients.
