We are looking for an experienced Project Director to join our team working to deliver a large multi‑discipline framework in the Inverness area. You will be delivering SSEN Onshore projects including substations, overhead lines, and UGC.

• Responsible for the overall leadership, direction, management, and supervision of multi‑disciplinary projects to appropriate health and safety, time, cost, and quality targets; provide strategic planning, leadership, and support to project operations.
• Required to implement a full risk and value engineering management process where all risks and cost‑saving opportunities are identified.
• Consulting effectively with customers and stakeholders.
• Preparing and communicating financial reports and spreadsheets to stakeholders while vigorously managing project costs and ensuring accurate expenditure tracking.
• Coaching and developing project staff, addressing performance issues appropriately.
• Consulting effectively with customers and stakeholders, ensuring project imperatives are clearly communicated and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Ensuring all services and installations meet required standards and certifications while promoting service excellence, best practices, and sustainability in line with Perfect Delivery philosophy.

• Display leadership skills alongside experience of delivering large-scale projects.
• Experience with in the Energy sector is desirable.
• Must be educated to a degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Experience and awareness of SSE.

We have extensive experience in upgrading and replacing energy networks, delivering asset management for major UK energy companies and network operators. Our transmission and distribution services involve the upgrading and replacement of electricity assets both above and below ground. Within the electricity sector we install and maintain assets, including excavation, laying, and jointing of cables (fluid filled and XLPe), substations and overhead line, new build, repair, and refurbishment services.
