Care Senior Support Assistant – Fraser Home Care

We are looking to recruit a Senior Support Assistant (SSA) to our Team. The role of being a SSA is an important role within Fraser Home Care & the social care industry. In this pivotal role, you'll help uphold the high standards of care and dignity that define our service.

Full time hours, Rotational shifts, £13.75 - £14.25 per hour.

• Provide consistent, dependable care across scheduled shifts, stepping into team lead responsibilities when needed
• Support and guide new team members through mentoring and informal training
• Communicate with clarity, focus, and empathy to ensure client needs are met
• Promote dignity and respect in every interaction with clients and colleagues
• Collaborate with other professionals to support individual care needs and accurately update care plans

• Essential: experience in a care setting
• Desirable: experience supporting individuals living with dementia
• Minimum SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Commitment to precision and timeliness in delivering care
• Openness to supervision and guidance from senior management
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and meet qualification requirements
• SSSC Registration

• Care experience
• SVQ Level 2.
• Full, valid driving licence and car insured for business use
