Senior Night Care Worker

As a Senior Care Worker (Nights) with Cross Reach, you will play a key leadership role during the night, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for older people. You will lead by example, supporting and guiding your colleagues to provide safe, compassionate and consistent care throughout the night.

What your role will involve

• Leading and supporting the night care team to maintain excellent standards of care
• Providing senior and management cover, ensuring safety, comfort and wellbeing overnight
• Overseeing medication, care planning and quality checks during night shifts
• Supervising, coaching and supporting staff to build confidence and capability
• Supporting service users with kindness, dignity and respect

About youYou are calm, capable and compassionate, with the confidence to lead and make decisions during the night. You support others positively and are committed to delivering care with dignity and professionalism. This role requires the post holder to have a Christian faith and to work within and uphold the Christian ethos of Cross Reach.

You will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care and be willing to complete PDA Supervision, PDA Medication, SVQ Level 4 and the Workplace Assessor Award. You will have basic IT skills, be registered with the SSSC and be a member of the PVG Scheme.
