Warehouse Assistant Inverness Garden Centre

We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Warehouse/Delivery Driver Assistant to join the team at our Inverness centre named Howdens Garden Centre.

Hours:

17 hours per week over 2 days, including regular weekend shifts – flexibility is a must.

Pay: £12.25 per hour.

As a Warehouse/Delivery Assistant you will play a critical role in the smooth and safe operation of our Warehouse and Goods‑in area, as well as carrying out customer deliveries. Safe vehicle operation and excellent customer skills will be essential.

• Receiving and booking deliveries, including updating our EPOS system.
• Maintaining warehouse standards and general housekeeping.
• Merchandising stock.
• Carrying out customer deliveries.
• Any other duties associated with a retail environment.

• Strong customer service skills.
• Full understanding of safe warehouse operation and manual handling.
• Forklift licence and driving licence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail when checking stock.
• Hardworking.
