Advanced Support Worker – Scotland – Community Integrated Care

We are looking for an experienced support worker with a background in autism and behaviour support to help a young gentleman in Inverness. You will support his daily routines, manage challenging behaviours, and help him achieve a better quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Support the young gentleman with routines, structure and consistency to promote safety and regulation.
  • Use Positive Behavioural Support strategies to manage challenging behaviours.
  • Build trusting relationships and provide supportive, consistent care.
  • Engage in reflective practice to maintain high quality support.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and share best practice.
  • Participate in transition training in Grimsby before relocation in March 2026.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Level 3 in Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience in mental health, autism (and/or obsessive‑compulsive disorders) and/or forensic background.
  • Working knowledge of positive behavioural support.
  • UK driving licence (required).
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shift patterns.
  • Good communication skills and a calm, positive approach.
  • Willingness to undertake DBS/PVG checks.
