Responsibilities
  • Support adults with learning disabilities and autism who have complex needs to lead the best life possible.
  • Provide medication administration, cooking and home maintenance, social support and manage finances for supported individuals.
  • Work 7 days a week, with flexibility to cover a variety of shifts from Monday to Sunday, including sleep‑over shifts.
  • Mentor and share skills and experiences with colleagues.
  • Participate in specialist training and develop expertise in Positive Behaviour Support, Makaton and the Picture Exchange System.
Shift Patterns
  • 7 am – 9 am
  • 9 am – 3 pm
  • 7 am – 12 noon
  • 7 am – 3 pm
  • 5:30 pm – 10 pm
  • 3 pm – 10 pm
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Social Care and strong experience in mental health, autism, sensory communication and physical health. If you do not hold a qualification, relevant social care experience will be required.
