CAD & Quoting Drafter

Pries Enterprises is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated CAD & Quoting Drafter to join our growing team! In this role, you will play an important part in supporting our extrusion operations by creating technical drawings, developing customer quotes, and coordinating information across multiple departments.

The ideal candidate is organized, enjoys working with technical details, communicates well with others, and takes pride in producing accurate work. If you enjoy problem-solving and working in a manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

• Create and maintain technical drawings of aluminum extrusion profiles using AutoCAD.

• Review customer requirements and determine the manufacturing processes needed for quoting.

• Gather pricing information from various departments to develop accurate customer quotes.

• Prepare quote packages for review and approval before providing them to the Customer Service team.

• Develop quotes and maintain accurate die and tooling information.

• Create and maintain reference files.

• Communicate with coworkers and other departments to gather information and ensure customer needs are met.

• Maintain accurate records, technical drawings, and related documentation.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, including the ability to create and interpret technical drawings.

• Ability to interpret customer requirements and identify the manufacturing processes needed for quoting.

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and stay organized.

• Good judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable attendance, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
