Office Administrator/ Coordinator
We are working on behalf of a Motor Engineering company based in Ipswich who are currently recruiting for a highly organised and proactive Engineering Administrator to support their growing team on a part-time basis! If you’re confident in communication, thrive in a varied role, and enjoy being at the heart of operational activity, we’d love to hear from you.
As a key point of contact for engineers, clients, vehicle owners and internal colleagues, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring the motor engineering services run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate engineer communications and manage job allocations
- Support vehicle inspections and total loss settlement processes
- Handle client and customer queries via phone, email and online portals
- Assist with payment administration and reconciliation tasks
- Collaborate closely with engineers, clients and vehicle owners to ensure seamless service delivery
- Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills
- Previous experience in motor claims and/or accident management (preferred but not essential)
- Confident user of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- A proactive, adaptable and team-focused mindset
Please note that this role requires a commitment of 15-20 hours per week. On-site parking is not available, but the office is easily accessible by public transport and public parking options are located nearby.
