About the Company

Our client is a well-established residential developer/contractor delivering high-quality housing schemes across the region. With a strong pipeline of traditional build, RC frame, and mixed-tenure developments, they are looking to expand their commercial team with an experienced Quantity Surveyor who thrives in a fast-paced residential environment.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded QS who wants clear responsibility, decision-making authority, and the chance to influence project success from start to finish.
You will take ownership of several live residential sites, overseeing the full commercial lifecycle from procurement to final account.

Key Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will:

Manage all commercial aspects of residential projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Prepare bills of quantities, cost plans, tender packages, and procurement schedules.

Manage subcontract procurement, negotiation, and appointment.

Administer contracts, variations, payments, and valuations in line with company processes.

Monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts, providing accurate monthly reporting.

Conduct site visits, attend progress meetings, and liaise closely with operational teams.

Identify value engineering opportunities and contribute to buildability discussions.

Manage risk, commercial reporting, and cost control procedures effectively.

Prepare and agree final accounts.

What We’re Looking For

Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the residential sector (developer or contractor).

Strong knowledge of traditional build housing, apartments, or mixed-use residential schemes.

Competent in managing subcontract procurement and commercial administration.
