We are seeking a Site Delivery Lead to join EDF’s Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station Project. The successful candidate will support major regulated construction projects and lead a team of senior managers across capital works and principal contractor responsibilities.

• Collaborate with SZC programmes, alliances, and project teams to define cross‑programme interfaces.
• Coordinate recruitment, ensuring SQEP compliance and timely resource allocation.
• Provide direction for effective strategy execution in line with the Programme Execution Plan (PEP).
• Maintain stakeholder communication and execute project or PEP strategies.
• Drive contract or package delivery, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget adherence, and business/technical requirements are met.
• Monitor progress, track milestones and budgets, and report to the Site Delivery Leadership team.
• Identify risks, facilitate issue resolution, and propose programme or budget updates.
• Ensure the development and maintenance of schedules within the overall project timeframe.
• Deliver the List of Deliverables (LOD) for the scope of work.
• Apply continuous improvement principles.
• Manage statutory legislation and CDM strategy in line with delegated responsibilities.
• Implement the Area Management Strategy to secure optimal decisions.
• Capture lessons learned and knowledge for business‑as‑usual practice.
• Interface with other programmes for a high‑level view of project progress.
• Ensure contractual requirements of contracts or packages are met.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with all project team members.

• Proven delivery of technically complex projects in a regulated environment, ideally within nuclear or similar industry.
• Strong project, financial, risk, schedule, and change management skills with proficiency in Earned Value tools.
• Experience managing multi‑disciplinary EPCM projects, complex contracts, and commercial claim close‑out.
• Background in nuclear new build or heavy civil engineering; knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, formwork, precast and in‑situ concrete, and nuclear safety culture (ONR, EA, Nuclear Site Licence).
• Excellent presentation, influencing, facilitation, communication, and organisational skills.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Detailed understanding of EPR design and nuclear quality assurance.
• Academic qualifications: degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Fellow (ICE, IStruct
  
  E, CIOB) preferred.
• Experience with APM Body of Knowledge and Prince2 (OGC) frameworks.
• Demonstrated project lifecycle management from concept to hand‑over.
• Knowledge of graded approach to quality and nuclear quality assurance processes.
