Physiotherapist (Bank) – Ipswich Hospital | Physiotherapy | Bank | Ad hoc, up to £25.00 per hour, depending on experience
Main duties of the job- Work across inpatients and outpatients and a range of musculoskeletal conditions and post‑operative cases
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team of nurses, AHPs and consultants, supported by a regional Clinical Lead
- Help patients achieve, maintain and recover to their aspired level of health and wellbeing
- Deliver excellent clinical care that is safe, effective, caring, well‑led and responsive to patients’ needs
- Be compliant with all governance standards and participate in clinical audit and quality assurance processes
- Enjoy protected CPD time and access to programmes and events by the Nuffield Health Academy
- The inpatient component may involve weekend working

Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital is set in over 19 acres of private woodland. Only private patients are treated at the hospital, making it the only purely private hospital in East Anglia and the first within the Nuffield Health Hospitals group. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission for 60 beds, with areas of specialty in cataract, cosmetic, gynaecology, imaging & radiology, orthopaedics and urology & men’s health.
The hospital has a CQC rating of good.
- BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
- Excellent manual therapy skills and a commitment to developing as a practitioner
- Confident communicator, skilled at engaging with all kinds of people
- Experience working across inpatients and outpatients and treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions and post‑operative cases
