Job Summary: The objective of Ericsson Consulting is to deliver engagements that generate value for our customers and enable greater value to Ericsson. We are looking for a highly experienced Techno‑Operational Consulting Leader to lead the NW & BOS Transformation Consulting practice and to be part of the Global Consulting Leadership Team that leads business and offerings across Ericsson.

Grow with us: We need a highly regarded professional with proven and comprehensive expertise in working with Communication Service Providers (CSPs) across OSS, Core/Cloud, RAN, Telco Orchestration, SMO, and with good exposure to BSS Transformation domains from technology and operational perspectives – with a strong business aspect in mind. This practice will engage in areas such as Autonomous Networks Strategy, O/BSS transformation, 5G Core/SA Value Argumentation, Cloud/HCP Operating Model, etc.

The team will act as an end‑to‑end Telecom Technology Consulting Hub for the Global Consulting team and combine solid technical expertise with Operating Models knowledge – process, organizational, metrics and systems – and a business mindset to advise CSPs.

• Team leader with a proven track record of growing teams, managing senior 5G & Enterprise Strategy professionals, and collaborating with peer consulting leaders worldwide.

You will be working with CxO at Ericsson customers – leading Telcos and Enterprises – formulating the technology roadmap. These engagements require you to be perceived by clients and colleagues as highly dependable and domain credible. You will also collaborate with senior sales leaders at Ericsson sales units to understand key pain points and position consulting engagements to CSPs and Enterprises, enabling greater value for Ericsson.

The role is global and will involve international travel.

• Drive global P&L and define objectives of NW & BOS Transformation Consulting domain.
• Identify, develop and manage portfolio of leading NW & BOS Transformation Consulting offerings.
• Identify consulting opportunities by working with technical professionals – Sales and Solution Architects.
• Nurture and convert opportunities while contributing actively to consulting proposals.
• Guide and lead delivery of consulting projects/programs across the globe.
• Engage as a thought leader at CxO level.
• Lead NW & BOS Transformation consulting team comprising senior members.
• Manage stakeholders in consulting communities across geographies.
• Contribute outside your domain to reach overall business objectives.

• AN, Orchestration & Automation transformation
  • Good understanding of Autonomous networks e2e methodology and orchestration & automation transformation approaches.
  • Appreciation of challenges and impacts, with practical experience of transformation delivery programs.
• 5G Core and 5G Network
  • Understanding of 5G Core – technology evolution towards 5G and Core deployment options (e.g., SA).
  • End‑to‑end technology evolution beyond Core – especially RAN (and Transport).
  • Strong understanding of business implications of the 5G Core and technology options.
• Telco Cloud transformation – Virtualization and Cloud Native
  • Knowledge of cloud transformation challenges, impacts and industry approaches.
  • Experience of Telco Cloud Transformation programs and operating models.
  • Knowledge of CICD/Dev Ops and related operational processes.
  • Operational implications of moving 5G Core to Virtualized or Cloud Native environments.
