Commercial Project Manager

Our client, a well established and reputable commercial contractor, is looking for a project manager with commercial store build and conversion experience. Projects will be based in Suffolk and Norfolk, with the position located in Bury St Edmunds.

You must have SMSTS and First Aid to start this role. Working Monday to Friday, salary up to £70,000 negotiable plus package and car depending on experience.

• 5 days on site and in the office between projects.
• Expenses for travel and hotels paid.

• Attend project meetings and produce reports.
• Attend meetings with designers, specialist contractors and internal teams.
• Review designs to ensure compliance with specification.
• Review, assess and select mechanical sub-contractors.
• Onsite review and management of installation to ensure contract compliance.
• Ensure health and safety policy is adhered during project duration.

Applicants would be required to oversee all aspects of the project, keeping a close eye on quality and ensuring site management teams are adhering to schedules, quality, H&S.

The successful candidate will need to have extensive experience in this sector. They must be client-facing, able to hold progress meetings and review processes to ensure phases are handed over on time and within budget.
