Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Practitioner for our Central Adult Safeguarding Team at Suffolk County Council.

— Hybrid - Salary: £43,273 per annum (pro rata)

15 hours per week - Contract:

- Undertake complex safeguarding enquiries for individuals and organisations
- Develop and implement safeguarding plans that reduce risk and promote safety
- Build strong relationships with partners to achieve long‑term outcomes
- Provide guidance and up‑to‑date research to support best practice in adult safeguarding
You’ll hold a relevant professional qualification and have:
- A strong understanding of safeguarding legislation, including the Mental Capacity Act and Human Rights Act
- Experience in managing complex safeguarding cases and creating effective plans
- Commitment to the Signs of Safety practice model
- Excellent communication skills for challenging conversations and partnership building
- Experience supervising and supporting staff to deliver high‑quality practice
