Staff Nurse - Outpatients/Pre-assessment (RGN) (Bank)

Ipswich Hospital | Nursing | Bank | Ad Hoc | Includes weekend work. Up to £19.00 per hour, dependent on experience.

As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will:

• Be part of a close‑knit team delivering matron‑led care in a consultant‑led service.
• Act as the first point of contact and collaborate with leading talent and professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery.
• Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care.
• Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family.
• Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care.
• Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities.
• Work with practitioners in other areas, ensuring continuity in patient care.

Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30‑bed hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free on‑site car parking. The hospital has two laminar flow operating theatres and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department, a small radiology department and mobile CT/MRI services. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital, while outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester Gate for follow‑up physio and hydrotherapy treatments.

Our main speciality is orthopaedics, and we also care for patients needing treatment within gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, and pain. • Registered with the appropriate governing body, including NMC.
• Relevant qualifications and experience for registration.
