Description:

We are recruiting for a Locum Practice Nurse to work with a GP surgery in Stowmarket, Suffolk on an ongoing basis. The role is for every Tuesday with flexible working hours, offering a great opportunity for an experienced nurse to provide support in general treatment room duties.

Key Responsibilities:

* General treatment room duties, including:

* Chronic disease management (e.g., asthma, diabetes, COPD)

* Cervical smears

* Vaccinations and immunisations

* Minor treatments and wound care

* Ability to manage your own workload and deliver high-quality patient care

* Working effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Key Requirements:

* At least 6 months' experience as a Practice Nurse within a UK GP surgery

* Experience in the management of chronic conditions (asthma, diabetes, COPD, etc.)

* Competent in general treatment room duties

* Must be flexible with working hours (every Tuesday)

* Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
