Overview
One Stop - Customer Service Assistant role at One Stop Stores Ltd. We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be working in a fast paced retail environment where no day is the same.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service, stock shelves, process payments, and help maintain the store’s appearance.
- Serve customers with passion and pride and encourage feedback through the Have Your Say survey.
- Work across all areas of the store including online, tills, replenishment, vending and stock routines to meet customer needs.
- Apply training to work safely and follow store procedures.
- Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Understand store performance and contribute to delivering profit.
- Adhere to company policies, uphold values, and make everyone feel welcome.
- Clock in and out at the start and end of shifts to ensure accurate pay.
- Follow security procedures and wear safety equipment where available to keep colleagues and customers safe.
- Follow the Think 25 policy when serving age-restricted products.
- Respond quickly to assistance calls on self-service checkouts and explain actions to customers.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organized store environment with clear aisles.
- May be asked to run the shift in the absence of the Shift Leader and Store Manager.
- Follow all training to keep staff and store safe and compliant with legal requirements.
- If applicable, duties may include Post Office Local operations, which may require passing a background check.
