Customer Development Executive – McCurrach on behalf of Carlsberg Britvic
Location:
Ipswich, Stowupland & surrounding areas (Ideal postcode IP14)
Permanent, Full time – 40 hours per week
Salary £29,750 basic + 20% Bonus

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi‑beverage supplier in the UK and home to brands such as Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti, Brooklyn, Hobgoblin, Wainwright, J2O, Robinsons, Tango, London Essence and the Pepsi portfolio in the UK (Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea, Rockstar Energy).
With six production facilities and 16 logistics depots across the UK, we are focused on ensuring our people succeed.
Working with a Regional Sales Manager, you will make face‑to‑face contact with convenience (Symbol & Independent) retailers, establish and retain new business opportunities, and deliver a territory business plan focused on maximising sales opportunities.
- Partner with customers by building outstanding relationships in convenience stores, understanding retailer needs and local consumers, and executing solutions.
- Adopt a full category‑based selling approach to grow and develop every outlet for both the retail outlet and Carlsberg Britvic.
- Create a winning territory business plan and take a business development approach to grow sales and market share.
- Use data and evidence‑based retailer successes to drive best practice in your territory, region, and across the team.
- Develop a growth mindset with an adaptable approach that demonstrates an ability to offer alternative solutions to challenges and win over your stores.

- Previous experience in direct sales/convenience or FMCG is a plus.
- Good administration, organisational and planning skills; commercially astute with great negotiation techniques.
- Self‑motivated and IT/social media literate.
- Strong, resilient, with the personal energy and will to act at pace.
- Participates as part of a team in a proactive manner.
- Full valid manual driving licence, eligibility to work in the UK, and within a 60‑minute commute from the role location.
- Starting salary of £29,750, plus a 20% quarterly bonus based on targets.
- Company vehicle & fuel card.

this role requires a full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points or previous bans); all offers subject to a successful DVLA licence check.
