Suffolk County Council is seeking a passionate Newly Qualified Social Workers to join their team. The role offers a salary of £34,434 per annum (rising to £37,280 per annum) and a range of benefits, including a joining payment of £1,500 and a £4,000 retention payment.

The successful candidate will work with children and young people in need, providing exceptional care and support. They will be fully supported to achieve their goals and reach their full potential during their Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE), whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities and Benefits

Requirements

  • A relevant social work qualification and Social Work England registration
  • A full and current driving licence and access to personal transport or meeting the mobility requirements of the role through other reasonable and suitable means
