We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Feed Delivery Specialist to join our team. The Delivery Specialist is responsible for driving the feed truck, delivering bulk feed to pastures, farm sites and businesses, and assisting with warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the feed truck and its contents, picking up and delivering to pastures, farm sites, and businesses.
- Assist in warehouse operations, loading, unloading, and delivering other materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form.
- Operate machinery and equipment as required, including accurate unloading and delivery of product, inspecting trucks for defects/safety hazards before and after trips, submitting truck condition reports, and completing accurate sales tickets and required records.
- Perform basic clean‑up and preventative maintenance on assigned trucks, other shop duties, general maintenance, and housekeeping. Monitor equipment for fertilizer or chemical leaks.
- Complete all chemical logs, Agtegra Truck logs, and DOT Truck logs; maintain driver log per ICC regulations.
- Interact regularly with customers, peers, and management to provide exceptional customer service, pursue continuous improvement of facility operations, and promote a teamwork‑focused environment.
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and clean work environment, and complying with US DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements, the Agtegra Drug‑Free Workplace Policy, OSHA regulations, and the Agtegra Vehicle Policy and Fleet Safety Program.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Diploma/GED or 0–1 year related experience or combination of education and experience.
- CDL or valid driver’s license with ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License;
Class A CDL preferred; tanker endorsement required and hazmat endorsement suggested and may be required later. - Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- 18 years or older.
- English proficiency.
- Ability to perform physical job duties that may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions that may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., using personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.
- General knowledge of valves, tanks, and their operation is beneficial.
