Estimator, Construction, Construction Manager​/ Foreman

Nor Cal Construction & Development, Inc. (CSLB #923401) is a family-run general contractor specializing in fire and water damage restoration for residential and commercial properties. Since 1978, we’ve helped property owners across the Tri-Valley, South Bay, and East Bay rebuild after a loss. We’re a small team, so you’ll have real ownership of your jobs and direct access to company leadership.

We’re looking for an Estimator / Project Manager to take insurance restoration projects from first inspection through final billing. You’ll scope losses, write estimates, work with adjusters, and manage the rebuild.

• Inspect and scope fire and water losses on site
• Negotiate scope, supplements, and code upgrades with adjusters
• Build schedules and coordinate subcontractors and material orders
• Keep property owners informed throughout the project
• Monitor job budgets and quality, and manage projects through closeout and final billing

• [3+] years of estimating or project management experience in insurance restoration
• Proficiency in Xactimate
• Working knowledge of residential and light commercial construction, including California building codes
• Experience working directly with adjusters and managing subcontractors
• Strong organization and clear written and verbal communication
• Comfort working independently in the field and remotely
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation

• IICRC certifications
• Experience with large-loss projects
