Position:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administration Assistant based at Ayrshire Central Hospital
.
Working as an Administration Assistant within North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership Community Nursing services you will provide comprehensive administrative support for the District Nursing and Complex Packages of Care services.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:You will be educated to SVQ Level 2 in Business Administration/IT or have equivalent clerical experience. You will have excellent administrative and accredited computer skills with practical experience and knowledge of database creation and maintenance. You will have a working knowledge and a high level of competence of Microsoft Office Packages (i.e. Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Teams). Excellent time management and communication skills, both written and verbal are essential as well as a high degree of interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with highly confidential/sensitive issues in an appropriate manner.
You must have the ability to adhere to strict maintenance of confidentiality with a knowledge/understanding and compliance of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The ability to work unsupervised whilst using your own initiative as well as being able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team is essential. You must also be able to work to challenging timescales by organising and prioritising your workload and have the flexibility to change and last minute demands.
37 hours per week Monday - Friday
