PositionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Safety and Security Staff based at Foxgrove National Secure Adolescent Inpatient Service within Ayrshire Central Hospital. This post is for 2 fixed-term 18 month positions.
What you will doYou will be based at Foxgrove National Secure Adolescent Inpatient Service within Ayrshire Central Hospital and will join and work alongside the Service Manager and multi‑disciplinary team to assist in completion of the final development of pathways and processes focusing on security systems and maintaining critical aspects of security systems‑procedurally, relationally and operationally, whilst having the opportunity to build the culture and ethos of the service prior to its opening in 2025.
Knowledge,training and/or experience required to do the job
- Experience in a relevant security or customer related environment
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication, planning and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to fulfil main duties and responsibilities as outlined in the job description
- Full driving licence
- Ability to work autonomously within a highly pressurised environment
37 hours per week (this post is shift work including night shift rotation). This post includes 2 fixed‑term 18 month positions.
UK Driving Licence/Car OwnershipA UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
