PositionAn opportunity has arisen for a permanent Immunisation Staff Nurse within our Children and Families Health Team based at Ayrshire Central Hospital, within the North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership.
What You Will DoYou will work as part of the Children and Families Health Team, supporting and delivering the children/young people Immunisation Programme at GP premises, community and educational establishments in line with the Public Health agenda. You will provide high quality nursing care, support and advice to children and young people and their parents/carers, and deliver Immunisation services that are patient‑centred and responsive to local needs.
Knowledge& Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Demonstration of communication skills
- Demonstration of organisational and motivational skills
- Ability to work within a multi‑disciplinary team promoting integrated nursing approaches
- Experience of working with children and families (community experience desirable)
30 hours worked Monday‑Friday. Compressed hours may be considered.
