Job Overview

MKM Building Supplies is looking for a Salesperson to drive sales of building supplies and timber products. The role involves customer interaction, quoting, and new business generation.

• Providing quotations and quote follow up
• Customer interaction face‑to‑face and telephone
• Excellent customer service and product advice
• Proactive approach to sales and opportunity to increase a sale
• Use of CRM holding portfolio of 50+ customers
• Generate new business with existing and new customers
• Upsell and gap analysis on existing customers
• Cold calling and lead qualifying

• Motivated, energetic, self‑driven, positive attitude
• Sound product knowledge is essential
• Previous sales experience in a builder’s or timber merchant environment is essential
• Confident dealing with customers
• Build great customer relationships
• Excellent telephone manner, communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer literate
