Head Pastry Chef

We are in search of a highly skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team at our renowned bakery in Isa Town. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation and presentation, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and update pastry menus based on current trends and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee all aspects of food production for pastries, desserts, and breads
- Ensure high quality and consistency in all pastry items
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Manage inventory levels and ordering of supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new dessert offerings for special events or promotions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of different pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating delicious desserts
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this position.

Location:

This role is based in Isa Town but we welcome applicants from all nationalities who are legally eligible to work in Bahrain.
