Internal Site Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Internal Site Manager to oversee internal works on a live school project at Channing School in North London. This is a short-term assignment requiring a proactive and organised individual who can manage trades, maintain safety standards, and ensure works are delivered to programme and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

* Day-to-day management of internal construction works

* Supervision and coordination of subcontractors and direct labour

* Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard

* Managing quality control, snagging, and handover processes

* Maintaining site records, progress reporting, and site diaries

* Liaising with the main Site Manager, client representatives, and school staff

* Ensuring strict adherence to health & safety procedures, especially in a live school environment

Requirements

* Proven experience as an Internal Site Manager

* School or education sector experience preferred, but not essential

* Strong understanding of internal fit-out and finishing trades

* Ability to work calmly and professionally in a sensitive, live environment

* SMSTS / SSSTS, First Aid, and valid CSCS card required

* Strong communication and organisational skills

Contract Details

* Short-term contract: 3 weeks

* Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)
