Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from a reputable university
• Masters degree in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent will be an advantage
• Max. years experience in related area (Chemical know‑how), technical expertise in Chemistry with a proven track record
• Knowledge of and experience in analytical chemistry, analytical testing and instrumentation will be preferred
• Formulation knowledge will be an advantage
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Advanced in MS‑Office applications
• Strong analytical skills & good communication skills
• Customer focus and result & quality oriented approach
• No military obligation for male candidates

Job Description

We are now looking for an "
Associate Scientist
" to be a member of our Research & Development Department. The R&D team is the Business Partner and first point of contact for marketing, sales and supply chain for all technical/R&D related activities. The main purpose of the role is to provide technical support in all day-to-day activities and projects.

Responsibilities Of The Ideal Candidate Will Include

• Own Industrial solution (IS) formula including products that are used in IWT, Mining, Geothermal and O&G industries for compliance and product management.
• Perform product and raw material physical‑chemical analysis according to project and customer needs.
• Develop product formulations as per project requirements and make development reports.
• Coordinate and collaborate with our application laboratories / formulations worldwide and the field application teams for the performance testing of formulations and other R&D activities.
• Perform benchmark studies and reverse engineering to evaluate competitor products.
• Deliver profitability improvement projects through formulation and supply/sourcing & marketing initiatives.
• Do literature research.
• Take care of day-to-day lab operations and give support in dealing with customer complaints.
• Take part in local and global projects, including lab work as well as liaising with other internal departments.
• Be the point of contact for technical R&D support to sales and marketing departments.
• Generate efficient and timely reports.
