About the Role
Grand Circle Corporation is seeking  experienced Tour Leaders  (Trip Experience Leaders) to guide  base and extension itineraries  for  Grand Circle Travel  and  Overseas Adventure Travel (O.A.T.)  throughout Italy in 2026.

Important Notes
Availability:  Required  year-round  for the 2026 travel season.
Patentino Accompagnatore:  A  valid “Patentino da Accompagnatore Turistico”  is  mandatory  to lead tours in Italy. You’ll need to present it if selected for the next stage.

Contract:

This is a  freelance  ( libero professionista ) position.

Languages:

Fluent English and Italian  required, with solid knowledge of your assigned itinerary.

What We Require
Valid  “Patentino di Accompagnatore Turistico”   or   IATM membership certificate
Fluent English & Italian , excellent communication and presentation skills
At least  5 years of residence in Italy  (if not Italian)
24/7 availability  during tours
Strong  knowledge of Italian destinations , local  history, culture, and wildlife
Understanding of  American travelers and culture
Creative, resourceful team player  with leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
Enthusiasm and passion  for sharing life experiences and discussing cultural insights
Minimum  2 years’ experience escorting groups  preferred (not required)
International work experience  a plus

Your Responsibilities
Contact travelers before trips via  emails or calls
Confirm  transportation, activities, and vendor arrangements
Handle  medical or emergency situations  with professionalism
Provide  commentaries  and  info talks  on destinations, culture, and daily life
Offer and manage excursion products  and payments
Create  Learning & Discovery activities  for travelers
Go  off the beaten track  to show authentic local life

3-Day Training – January 28th, 29th, 30th
All steps are  mandatory  and  selective , with continuous assessment from both sides.
