We are looking for:
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic  Business Travel Consultant (m/w/d), who desires to contribute to the growth and success of our Service Team.

Your role in Biz Away :
As our Business Travel Consultant, you will be the primary point of contact for our corporate clients, dedicated to crafting seamless travel experiences that prioritize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and safety. Your core responsibilities include:

Comprehensive Travel Management :
Expertly booking and managing all travel services, including flights, trains, hotels, and car rentals, while securing the most advantageous solutions in terms of both price and convenience.

Proactive Customer Support :
Offering continuous assistance to travelers at every stage of their journey—before, during, and after—and promptly addressing any requests or unforeseen circumstances such as delays, cancellations, or modifications.

Strategic Consulting and Optimization :
Guiding clients on optimal travel policies and leveraging our platform to streamline processes and maximize cost savings.

Decisive Problem Solving :
Swiftly and proactively resolving intricate situations or emergencies, consistently ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.

Your basic qualifications

Extensive Industry Experience : A minimum of 10 years of professional experience within the dynamic and fast‑paced Travel Industry is essential. This experience should encompass a broad understanding of various travel sectors and market trends.

Deep GDS Proficiency :
Profound and hands‑on knowledge of major Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo, and/or Sabre is a mandatory requirement. This includes advanced skills in booking, ticketing, and managing complex travel itineraries through these systems.

Diverse Sector Background :
Prior working experience in a travel agency, airline, or bedbank is highly valued. This diverse background indicates a comprehensive understanding of different operational models and client needs within the travel ecosystem.

Bilingual Communication Skills :
Excellent knowledge of English and one of these languages (Italian or Spanish or Portuguese or German or French language). The ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely in both languages is paramount.

CRM System Acumen :
While not strictly required, prior knowledge and experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems are considered a significant advantage. Familiarity with CRM platforms demonstrates an understanding of customer data management and relationship building, which can contribute to enhanced client satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Our offer
Contract type:
Permanent

Working hours:

Full‑time – 40h/week, with rotating shifts that may include night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Hybrid:
Smart Working Policy (2 days remotely and 3 in the office), flexible working hours and great offices in Europe

Salary:
Starting from level 4th and above, with a range of 25K to 35K, in accordance with the National Collective Agreement for the Commerce sector (CCNL Commercio)
