About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Exterior/Interior Designer to join our Design teams.
The ideal candidate is a passionate, experienced, and highly creative automotive designer, capable of delivering innovative design proposals and leading projects with autonomy and precision.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality design proposals within project deadlines.
Deeply understand and embody CHANGAN’s Brand & Design Philosophy and its values.
Work independently to produce consistent, high-quality design outcomes.
Understand packaging constraints and engineering requirements.
Provide precise design inputs for digital and physical modelers.
Lead digital/physical model development in collaboration with other teams.
Prepare and participate autonomously in presentations and weekly management reviews.
Present design proposals to management, including Directors and General Management.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Transportation Design, Automotive Design, or Industrial Design.
Experience:
Minimum 6 years of experience in automotive industry.
Strong hand and digital sketching abilities.
Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Alias, Blender, VRED, or similar.
Passion for innovation and precision in design.
Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
Excellent time management and ability to adapt in fast‑paced environments.
Fluent English (spoken and written) is required.
Knowledge of Chinese is considered a plus.
