Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) Opportunities – Multiple Levels
Location :
Northern Italy / Hybrid
Salary : €40 - €70 DoE
We are representing a leading aerospace company specialising in small satellite platforms and innovative space systems. The company designs, develops, integrates, and tests its products entirely in-house, offering a collaborative and dynamic environment.
We currently have a range of AIT roles available, from mid-level engineers to senior managers, across Assembly, Integration, and Testing functions. These positions provide the opportunity to work on cutting‑edge projects in a high‑tech, international aerospace environment.
Key Responsibilities (depending on level)
Plan, coordinate, and execute assembly, integration, and testing campaigns for satellites and subsystems.
Develop and maintain test procedures, Ground Support Equipment (GSE), and integration documentation.
Lead, mentor, or work within multidisciplinary technical teams.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and aerospace standards.
Support new product development, process optimisation, and operational excellence initiatives.
Interface with engineering, quality, and program teams to resolve technical issues and improve workflows.
Requirements (depending on level)
Relevant technical qualifications (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent).
Hands‑on experience in aerospace AIT or high‑tech manufacturing.
Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in cleanroom or lab environments.
Experience with ERP / MES systems, 3D CAD tools, and documentation management is highly desirable.
Proven ability to manage or contribute effectively to technical teams.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Additional Assets
Experience in space, defense, or high‑reliability sectors.
Familiarity with aerospace standards (ECSS, AS9100, MIL, or equivalent).
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and KPI‑driven operations.
Ability to scale processes for multiple projects or series production.
