MECHANICAL R&D ENGINEER
The Mechanical R&D Engineer develops new concepts and prototypes for mechanical assemblies in Mechanica Sistemi’s conveyor systems. This role supports product innovation by designing, testing, and refining components for enhanced performance and reliability.
Main activities

Design and test mechanical components and assemblies in R&D projects
Support prototyping, test bench construction, and data collection
Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure functional integration
Analyze mechanical performance and propose design improvements
Document designs, testing results, and technical evaluations

Skills and attitudes required

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience in mechanical design and testing environments
Proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting (e.g., Inventor)
Interest in mechanical innovation and systems optimization
CAD modeling and drawing
Mechanical testing and analysis
Experimental design and documentation
Problem-solving and creativity
Team-oriented mindset
