WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Footwear Product Developer, your main contribution will be to develop high‑end quality collections for designated product categories in close cooperation with Product Manager and in line with company standards and business goals for quality, cost, sustainability and delivery. You will report to Product Manager and play a vital role by:

Follow development critical path from initial design through to pre‑production, including technical development of lasts, uppers, soles, materials and components
Manage components and sample purchase orders and maintain accurate data on pricing, lead‑times, minimum quantity, surcharges and special documentation
Organise and track shipments of products across development stages and keep a well aintained archive
Partner with quality team on quality testing and analysis of raw materials from prototyping to sampling stages
Make comments on the various proto stages and communicate to suppliers on day‑to‑day operations
Enter product data input in internal system PLM and maintain correct information on BOM and product level
Maintain balanced communication and a good working process with both internal departments as well as external suppliers to meet all product requirements

Specific experience and knowledge for this role

Minimum 3 years’ experience in footwear product development role preferably from high‑end fashion brands
Basic to solid technical knowledge of casual and sportive footwear construction and components
Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes and production constraints
Strong communication skills in written and spoken English and Italian
Highly proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
Experience in PLM is meriting
B Driving license
