AWS Public Sector Associate Cloud Architect
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team seeks a skilled Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customer needs and business objectives. In this role, you’ll work closely with customers to drive success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
As a Delivery Consultant you will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer. You’ll gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, propose effective migration strategies, and serve as a trusted advisor on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions. You’ll lead implementation, ensure adherence to best practices, optimize performance, and manage risks.
Eligibility
Swedish National with business‑level proficiency in Swedish.
Key Responsibilities
Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Sharing knowledge through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
A day in the life
In this role you will work within the global Pro Serve team, partnering with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. You will support customers in achieving outcomes related to AWS adoption, delivering focused guidance across solutions, technologies, and industries.

Basic Qualifications
1+ year experience in cloud architecture and implementation, plus 1+ year of consulting with customers.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience with Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, C, or C++.
Experience or proficiency in Dev Ops, Cloud Infrastructure, AI, Security, Software Development, or Databases (highly desirable).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with source control repositories (Git Hub/Git Lab, SVN, Mercurial, Perforce) in addition to one of the listed programming languages.
AWS experience, including proficiency across services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Cloud Formation.
Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
