Job Title:

Cloud Architect

Job Summary:

The Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and compliant Microsoft Azure cloud solutions. This role focuses on integrating cloud and on-premise environments seamlessly, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations (GxP), and managing Microsoft contracts. The Cloud Architect drives the company's digital transformation by aligning cloud strategies with business objectives, promoting innovation, and balancing performance, cost, and compliance.
The position will report directly to the Global Enterprise Architecture & Integration structure, specifically dedicated to the infrastructure domain, ensuring strategic alignment and effective collaboration within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cloud infrastructures on Microsoft Azure with a focus on scalability, security, and compliance.
Develop an infrastructure architecture blueprint, guidelines, and standards for hybrid environments.
Develop and execute the organization's cloud strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Collaborate with executive stakeholders to define a roadmap for cloud adoption and migration.
Technology Leadership:
Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend solutions to enhance business capabilities.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to teams to align with cloud architecture best practices.
Act as a cloud engineer, developing directly on platforms with a particular focus on Proof of Concepts (POC).
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical regulations (GxP) and maintain security standards.
Optimize Microsoft licensing and contracts, including Enterprise Agreements (EA) and Cloud Solution Provider (CSP).
Collaboration and Integration:
Manage hybrid environments, integrating cloud and on-premise systems seamlessly.
Work with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure operational excellence.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Microsoft Certified:
Azure Solutions Architect Expert (mandatory).

Experience:

Minimum of 7 years in cloud architecture, focusing on Microsoft Azure.
Proven experience in hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud integration.
Strong expertise in managing Microsoft contracts and licensing agreements.
Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations (GxP).

Skills:

Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and hybrid architectures.
Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops).
Strategic thinking with the ability to align IT architectures with business objectives.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Leadership and advisory skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Adaptability and a proactive approach to change.
