Global Corporate & Commercial Italy is the unit of Generali Italia S.p.A. that develops insurance services for medium and large companies.

Based in Milan, as a resource of the Casualty/Industrial & Commercial FL, Line of Business of GC&CI, you will deal with underwriting across the Casualty product lines in Italy. You will support the global strategy to ensure the successful achievement of targets.

Perform underwriting and portfolio management activities to achieve top and bottom line targets in line with the Casualty governance framework (Underwriting Authorities, Guidelines, Rules and Principles)
Underwrite Casualty risks, in respect of all products (General Liability, Employer’s Liability, Products Liability, Recall, Tampering), for domestic and multinational programs, with the capability to drive the relationship with internal and external stakeholders in the insurance and reinsurance market

Requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

Degree in Economics or Law At least three years of previous experience as a Corporate Casualty Underwriter Fluent knowledge of Italian and English (spoken and written); knowledge of at least one additional foreign language is preferred

Ability in commercial negotiation

Attitude to work in team Ability to work in an international context

Good command of main IT packages (Office/internet) and practice in the use of underwriting tools
