Production Planner

Location: Via Milano
For our client part of a global industrial company, we are seeking a   PRODUCTION PLANNER

Key responsibilities:

Take ownership of production planning across multiple lines (make to stock and make to order), ensuring timely delivery and optimal resource utilization.
Translate business needs into actionable production schedules, balancing capacity, material availability, and customer priorities.
Lead the implementation of digital tools (MES, Power BI KPI dashboards, others) to continuous improve and streamline planning processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, optimize workflows, and improve responsiveness.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (OTD, throughput, inventory levels) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to strategic planning and capacity expansion projects as the company scales.
Requirements:
BS in Industrial Engineering, Managerial or Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
3 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
Strong command of ERP systems and planning tools.
Analytical mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach.

Experience with digital transformation projects (e.g., MES implementation, data analytics).
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and process optimization.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A passion for improvement, innovation, and making things work better
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Curiosity, sense of ownership, results-orientation and autonomy are key soft skills to be successful in the role.
