Product Quality Engineer

Serioplast , a Global Leader in  Rigid Plastic Packaging , is looking for a  Product Quality Engineer  for its Global Headquarters in Seriate (BG).

What will you do?

Support the Validation & Product Quality Manager in ensuring that all quality control standard methods and procedures are constantly updated in terms of efficiency and compliance with customer requirements.

Provide advice and support on quality control aspects to all internal stakeholders globally and locally.

Support Group plants on daily activities and, in case of need, directly support the Quality Manager and his or her team in the plant performing quality control activities and measurements.

Support in the definition and adequate execution of test methods.

Provide training and support to plants on measurement processes and tools.

Collaborate on the definition of development plans for laboratory activities.

Support the Validation & Product Quality Manager in ensuring the implementation and maintenance of the reporting system.

Ensure that all internal and external non-conformities are tracked in the Group’s Systems and prepare periodic reports on the quality performance of the Plants.

Support the plants in identifying the appropriate containment and corrective actions to internal and external non-conformities (CAPA Plan).

Participate in new production projects acting as a reference point for quality aspects.

What are we looking for?

Good knowledge of ISO standards.

Good knowledge of plastic molding technologies (EBM, SBM, IM, CIM).

Good knowledge of Statistical Process Control and statistical analysis.

Good applied knowledge of measuring instruments and techniques.

Good project management skills.

Availability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Good knowledge of English.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in scientific subjects.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Quality Control department of an FMCG multinational company.
