Real Estate Legal Specialist
The RE Legal Specialist is part of the country‑level Real Estate department, reporting directly to the relevant RE Legal Manager and functionally to the Director of Legal. The role focuses on all legal aspects of Real Estate processes and activities, providing legal advice and support from Lead to Store, especially around lease contracts, permits and related negotiations.

Areas of Responsibility

Negotiate lease contracts; prepare text proposals, alternative clauses and sections check.

Set up draft/standard contracts and secure high‑quality lease contracts by checking must‑haves and nice‑to‑haves in compliance with Action standards.

Screen standard lease contracts.

Monitor expiration dates of current lease contracts and ensure timely termination or extension.

Arrange financial securities (bank or corporate guarantees).

Assist with the permit application process.

Ensure alignment with Action Central Legal RE and, where necessary, outside counsel.

Maintain up‑to‑date administration and archive of all legal Real Estate related documents.

Advise the RE management team on all legal aspects of the process.

Provide legal advice and resolve problems relating to purchase and lease contracts, permit issues, and other Real Estate topics.

Pro‑actively inform Action Central Legal RE of all relevant legal topics.

Requirements — Hard and Soft Skills

Master’s degree in Law.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience practicing as a lawyer specializing in Real Estate (lease, purchase, permits, cadaster, etc.).

Excellent communication skills in the local language and proficiency in English.

Ability to propose efficient and effective working methods, reducing complexity and implementing them.

High level of pragmatism.

Highly organised, able to structure activities and projects, and adhere to deadlines and guidelines.

Works efficiently and effectively under time pressure.

Collaborates well with others to achieve common targets.
