Procurement Manager

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to take ownership of all purchasing activities for a busy manufacturing business. This is a key role, responsible for ensuring the timely, cost-effective and high-quality supply of components, materials and services while supporting operational efficiency and business growth.

The Role As Procurement Manager, you will:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or delivery Conduct project feasibility analysis and specify capital equipment for future growth Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for savings and process improvements Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare reports for senior management Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and industry standards Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to forecast demand and manage inventory Skills & Experience 35 years procurement or supply chain experience, ideally in manufacturing or electronics Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills Experience using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Desirable:
