For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Engineering Program Director, Quality Strategy & Investigation Excellence to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This leader will guide enterprise-level quality investigation strategy and build a centralized capability focused on rigorous root cause analysis and advanced quality analytics. The role will partner closely with technical leaders to strengthen product performance, improve escalation response, and elevate investigation discipline across the organization. It is well suited for a seasoned program leader who can align experts, shape methodology, and drive measurable improvements in quality outcomes.
Location:
Remote
Compensation: $223,200 – $334,800 annually
Responsibilities- Establish and lead a centralized Investigation Excellence engineering capability
- Develop organizational strategy for root cause analysis and advanced quality analytics
- Lead deployment of advanced investigation methodologies, including Lean Six Sigma
- Own escalation support for critical investigations and major quality events
- Build communities of practice for quality reliability engineers
- Mentor technical experts in investigation disciplines
- Partner with leaders to proactively identify emerging signals and improve product performance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 15+ years of relevant experience with 10+ years in managerial roles, or 13+ years with an advanced degree
- Expertise in advanced root cause methodologies such as Shainin Red X and Fault Tree Analysis
- Experience in high-reliability industries such as medical device, aerospace, or automotive
- Proven track record in building or leading Reliability Engineering or Quality Intelligence organizations
