Key Responsibilities- Perform daily bookkeeping activities, including recording and posting transactions in the accounting system.
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconciliations for accounts such as cash, receivables, payables, inventory, and fixed assets.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring all journal entries are properly recorded.
- Coordinate with external auditors by providing required schedules, supporting documents, and explanations during interim and year-end audits.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with local GAAP and group accounting policies.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records to ensure completeness and audit readiness.
- Liaise with other departments to gather supporting information for financial transactions and ensure accurate posting.
- Support internal control implementation and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist in ad-hoc tasks, reports, or special projects as assigned by Accounting manager.
Required:
- Minimum 1–3 years of working experience in accounting or bookkeeping; experience in a multinational company or shared services environment is an advantage.
- Experience supporting external audits is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and commitment to deadlines.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry setting.
- Familiarity with Indonesian GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Solid understanding of financial operations, banking procedures, and local payment regulations.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
