Study the materials and minerals that form rocks, as well as the history of rocks and the processes involved in their formation.
Responsible for the geological aspects of the mine, including hydrogeology, mineralogy, physical geology, sedimentology, paleontology, and geological structure.
Conduct mapping of rock formations and structures, utilizing geographic information systems (GIS) to support geological work.
Identify and calculate the economic value of mineral reserves based on collected geological data.
Collaborate with the team leader to determine drilling locations, with elevation measurements taken by the survey team.
Analyze field data and laboratory test results to inform geological assessments.
Assess and identify the geological conditions of the project site.
Job Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Geological Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mining.
- Knowledge of drilling data collection methods in accordance with SOP.
- Ability to work effectively outdoors in various environmental conditions.
- Excellent knowledge of geology and geological factors relevant to the location.
- Strong technical skills in designing geological mappings and using geological databases and software.
- Ability to produce accurate reports on data collection and analysis.
- Practical experience in collecting and analyzing geological data such as water, soil, and rock samples.
- Possession of a POP Certificate is a plus.
- Willingness to travel.
