Area Manager for F&B
Area Manager for F&B plays a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day store operations to ensure exceptional customer experiences, smooth workflow, and adherence to brand standards. This position involves managing shifts, mentoring staff, and maintaining the highest level of service quality in line with F&B expectations. Proficiency in English and strong leadership skills are critical for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily store operations to meet service standards.
- Manage shifts, staffing, and smooth handovers.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
- Provide top-tier customer service and handle complaints.
- Maintain store ambiance, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring staff.
- Motivate team performance, offering feedback and coaching.
- Act as a role model for professionalism and company values.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement.
- Minimize waste and optimize operational costs.
- Support sales goals and staff knowledge of promotions and upselling.
- Help achieve sales targets and manage budgets.
- Handle cash and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Address operational challenges promptly.
- Maintain communication with Operations Manager and other departments.
- Submit operational reports on sales, staff, and incidents.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years in F&B store operations
- Hands‑on experience managing shifts and leading teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
- Proficient in using POS systems and basic financial reporting tools.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of F&B service standards and best practices.
- Customer‑centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
- Detail‑oriented and highly organized.
- Professional appearance and demeanor in line with brand expectations.
- Full‑time role, involving shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
