Durianpay was established in 2020 with a vision to build modern business payments stack which helps improve customer as well as merchant experience in the Southeast Asia. Digital payments in SEA are poised to grow at a very fast pace with gross transaction volumes expected to cross $1 trillion in 2025. We have launched in Indonesia with a one-stop solution for frictionless checkout, easy to integrate modern APIs, and a single dashboard to manage payments and financial needs.

We’re currently seeking a Medior QA Engineer to take ownership of quality and collaborate with multiple roles like PM and developers and product teams.

Job description and key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with PMs, developers, and other QAs to ensure quality of software deliveries.
• Write and manage test cases and test plans for new and existing features.
• Execute test cases, provide test evidence, and report bugs clearly
• Perform exploratory testing and regression testing.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and integrate into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions).
• Monitor and analyze test results and support root cause analysis.
• Track and report quality metrics and defects.
• Advocate for quality in development process, sprint ceremonies, and deployments

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in QA Engineering or Software Testing.
• Solid understanding of QA fundamentals & best practices, and software development process.
• Experience with Test Management System like:
  Test Rails, Xray, Qase.
• Experienced in API testing and web automation using tools like Rest Assured, Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Good knowledge of programming, SQL query, and Git version control.
• Strong knowledge in REST API (HTTP method, status code, and RESTful concept)
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid communication and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Points:

• Experience in performance and security testing.
• Understand gRPC-based API testing.
• Exposure to testing in financial services or payment gateways.
• Experience mentoring junior QAs or leading small testing efforts.
